BirdReel NH13T Teakwood Smart Bird House

I have three bird cam feeders and another nesting box. This bird house is the BEST of the bird cams for a number of reasons. First, this was far easier to set up and pair than the others. It took a few minutes. No confusing parts to assemble, no screws and tools. I like that it is made of plain real wood and not painted particle board or plastic. The camera is easy to put in and take out, unlike others that required pressing hard plastic sides to release the camera from its housing or contorting my hand to reach in to insert micro SD cards. I especially love the double solar panels built into the roof. The others required mounting ugly white panels near the feeder. I’ll be getting a BirdReel feeder in the future to replace another brand.

If I could give the BirdReel birdhouse zero stars, I would! We've had this birdhouse for less than a year and today noticed that the door has split and is hanging off the front of the house. Upon further inspection we noticed that there are splits all over the box of the house and the solar panel looks like it is peeling off. The only upside of no birds ever choosing to nest in it is that at least we don't have baby birds at risk of death. Save your money because this birdhouse is not made to be outdoors in the elements...you know ...where birds live.

(Update : Google restored the app) Looks like Google Play has removed the Bird Lover app for Android so you can't use the camera with the feeder. Basically, it's just a feeder.
